Helping paws

The shelter always welcomes volunteers to come in and help out. Helping out can be assisting with laundry and dishes, walking dogs, reading to the animals, playing with cats and dogs or just lending a hand during special events.

Donations are always appreciated! Cleaning supplies (bleach, laundry soap, Dawn, Fabuloso, dryer sheets, paper towels) are always great! Toys, milk bones and other treats (no rawhide please), small throw size blankets, towels (blankets, towels and toys can be used!) are also great!

We also have a PayPal for monetary donations! We also have have an Amazon wishlist.

Sometimes volunteering is as easy as giving out some belly rubs.
Reading to the animals is a great way to help them acclimate to new people.
Ohio Valley Bank volunteers often come out and help get the dogs out and moving extra for the day!
Girls from The Grind came out and did a Pup Cup event and made sure each of our pups received a cup pup and some extra lovings!
Volunteers from the community and Nucor came out to help replace fencing on the outdoor kennels.
