While we may not have the answers to everything, we try to provide resources and useful information to the community as much as possible in order to help ensure the best care for our four-legged friends.

Needing to rehome? Lost or found pets? Check out these useful sources:

PetcoLoveLost is a new facial recognition program created to help reconnect pets and owners via photos. You can create an account and have your pets on there for future needs, as well as create an account to put lost or found animals.

The Facebook group, Mason County WV Lost & Found Animals is a good place to post a picture of your pet with contact information. These posts get shared many times and helps get the word out about your found animal or missing animal.

Pawboost allows you to to post your missing animals and it sends alerts through their Facebook, RescueSquad alerts and to their lost and found database.

Adoptapet offers a rehoming service that allows you to make a profile for your pet that needs rehomed and receive applications via their website.

Petbond not only allows you to look for adoptable pets, but helps with rehoming, including making free flyers and all you need to do is add in a few bits of information.

Share the word

Whenever you have a missing pet, need to rehome an animal or have found a pet the more you get the word out, the better. Share on social media, hang flyers, call your local shelter, walk around the neighborhood, etc.
