The Mason County Animal Shelter is a rural shelter set in the midst of Mason County with the goal of caring for and finding homes for the homeless animals
The shelter is a municipal entity through the Mason County Commission.
The shelter currently has a six person team on staff, including one full-time dog caretaker, one full-time dog warden/caretaker, one part-time dog caretaker, one part-time cat care taker, and one director.
